What is the Clinical Coders' Society of Australia?The Clinical Coders' Society of Australia Inc. (CCSA) was established in 1996 and is affiliated
with the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA). The CCSA constitution states that the primary objective of the Society is to provide a forum
and support for Clinical Coders and those interested in the coding of health care data. The CCSA aims to provide members with advice and support with:
In addition to helping raise the profile of Clinical Coders and to promote the understanding
of the value of coded data. The constitution of the CCSA enables membership to be offered to Clinical Coders, Health
Information Managers, and those with an interest in clinical coding. The CCSA is managed through a Managing Committee comprised of state and territory representatives, with a HIMAA committee member who acts as an ex-officio director. |
Notification to CCSA members of outcome of special resolution general meeting regarding a proposed change to CCSA Company Structure.Meeting held at 10am (EST) on the 8th of June 2007.
As a result of the members vote, these proposal were accepted and this is reflected in the logo and name changes from CCSA Ltd to CCSA Inc. on this web site and all CCSA correspondence. |
